Having my thesis defense on Student Day felt like perfect timing. After all the questions, discussions and defending, I'm hoping we can continue to celebrate together — with good food, laughter, and an unforgettable evening.

Lebanese buffet & desserts
An authentic Lebanese buffet with a wide variety of dishes — salads, dips & spreads, stews, fish, meat and chicken. For dessert: tiramisu, vanilla pudding and cookie pie. Coffee, tea and Lincon juice are served. Additional alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available at the bar at your own cost.
How to get there
Restaurang Merwah is central — easy to reach on foot, by bike, bus or taxi.
🚶 Walk or bike
Platensgatan 1 is right in central Linköping, a short walk from Resecentrum and most downtown spots. Easiest, greenest, and means no worries about the way home.
🚌 Bus & train
Linköping Resecentrum is ~5 min walk away. Several Östgötatrafik city buses stop nearby. Check timetables for your return — last departures can be earlier than you'd think.
🚕 Taxi
Plenty of taxis around the central station. Easy door-to-door option after a long evening.
👔 Dress code
Formal / Cocktail. Bring out your best evening look for a proper celebration.
